T-Shirt Design Contest

Design Contest Rules
1. Submission Guidelines
Each participant may submit one design only. If multiple designs are submitted, only the most recent submission will be judged.
Once the deadline passes, designs cannot be edited or replaced. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Submit your entry by completing the submission form provided below.
2. Required Elements & Originality
All artwork must be fully original and created solely by the participant.
No copyrighted or previously published materials may be used unless the entrant owns the rights.
Each design must include at least one of the following:
“Gospel Mission Church” or “GMC”
Theme: “The Local Church”
3. Design Requirements
One-color artwork only.
Will be printed on one side of the sweatshirt (designer’s choice of front or back)
Designers may select their sweatshirt color from white, black, grey, navy, red, or green, and should indicate their preferred option in the submission.
Transparent background required for the final design file.
Size: Minimum 4" × 4", maximum 8" × 8"
Minimum resolution (300 DPI):
4" × 4" → 1200 × 1200 pixels
8" × 8" → 2400 × 2400 pixels
Use bold, print-friendly lines; avoid extremely fine details.
Artwork must be suitable for all audiences.
No offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content.
Accepted file formats: PNG or JPG only.
Optional: You may include a mockup/sample rendering of the design on a sweatshirt.
4. Judging & Voting
Judging will be anonymous — neither the Retreat Committee nor the congregation will know who submitted which design until after voting.
The Retreat Committee will review all submissions and select the top three finalists.
The congregation will vote in person to determine the final winner.
Voting date: January 18, during EM service.
All decisions are final.
5. Winner & Prize
The winner will receive complimentary registration for the retreat (registration fee waived).
The prize is transferable to family or friends.
6. Eligibility
Open to all members of GMCEM.
ELT members and Retreat Committee members may participate but are ineligible for the prize.
If their design is selected as the winner, the prize may be transferred to a family member or friend.
7. Important Dates
Submissions due: January 16 at 11:59 PM — late submissions will not be accepted.
In-person voting: January 18, during EM service
Winning design submitted for print by: January 23
Production timeline: Approximately 1 week
8. Rights & Usage
By submitting, participants grant permission for their design to be printed and used for contest-related or promotional purposes connected to Gospel Mission Church and retreat ministry.
9. Disqualification
Any entry violating the contest rules may be disqualified at the organizers’ discretion.
